This edited volume welcomes chapter submissions within the following domains: biomedical engineering, medical information technology and biotechnology/bioengineering. Submissions are encouraged not only from academics, but also from engineers, natural scientists, and clinicians working in research, industry, or clinical practice. Quantitative, qualitative, experimental and mixed method designs are equally encouraged.
